This magazine spread is the first spread that I created for Voyageur Magazine. This was a class assignment where we were required to create a spread for the same article to become more accustomed to using InDesign. This article describes the history of the name "Death's Door". I incorporated historical aesthetics through the usage of black and white photography and an old journal to evoke the journals historical travelers would have used. Because this was used as a trial to help introduce the class to working on a magazine spread, this design will not be in the published issue of Voyageur Magazine.
